Welcome to Desktop/LX! Based on the latest Linux® technology and built with ease of use as its foremost goal, Desktop/LX is easy to install and configure and provides all the tools you need in your daily work and recreation.

Desktop/LX is installed from outside of Microsoft® Windows®. You may install Desktop/LX by booting from the CD, booting from floppy disks, or directly from MS-DOS® mode (Windows 95/98 only).
